Jack Byrnes – President
As President, Jack is responsible for ensuring the club fulfill its mission to build inclusive community, rooted in the gospel. Jack is a second-year MBA student pursuing a concentration in Healthcare. Raised an Ohioan, Jack has spent the last ten years in the South. Prior to arriving at UNC, he lived in Memphis where he worked as a Product Manager for Medtronic’s spinal division. This summer he worked as a Business Development and Strategy intern at Humana in their Home division. Jack is a 2014 graduate of Duke University where he double majored in Public Policy and Global Health. In his free time he enjoys going to Duke sporting events, watching travel documentaries, reading systematic theology, and exploring the Triangle with his wife Kathleen.
Caroline Turpin – VP of Corporate and Alumni Relations
As VP for Corporate and Alumni Relations, Caroline works to bring national Christian business leaders to engage with current students and keep our alumni abreast of club priorities. Caroline moved to Chapel Hill from Denver, CO to pursue her MBA at Kenan-Flagler. Prior to arriving at UNC, Caroline worked in Deloitte’s technology consulting practice and then transitioned to work in implementation at a Denver software startup. During the summer of 2020, Caroline worked as an intern on Google’s cloud professional services team. Outside of the classroom, she loves exploring local coffee shops, going on runs, and playing outside.
Katherine Dyke – VP of Learning & Development
As VP of Learning & Development, Katherine partners with Caroline Gill on faith formation and Bible study. Katherine is a Class of 2021 MBA student concentrating in Capital Markets & Investments. Prior to attending Kenan-Flagler Business School, she spent seven years working in communications strategy in New York and South Carolina. She graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture. This summer, Katherine interned as a Wealth Management Summer Associate at J.P. Morgan’s Private Bank in Atlanta.
Caroline Gill – VP of Learning & Development
As VP of Learning & Development, Caroline partners with Katherine Dyke on faith formation and Bible study. Caroline is a class of 2021 MBA student concentrating in Real Estate. Prior to business school, Caroline spent five years working for J.P. Morgan’s Investment Bank in New York City. Caroline is originally from Charlotte, NC and is from an entire family of Tar Heels. She loves following UNC sports especially football and basketball.
Alex Tylecote – VP of Learning & Development
As VP of Learning & Development, Alex leads the Men’s Community and Bible Study Group. Alex is a Class of 2022 MBA student concentrating on Corporate Finance. He is English and before attending Kenan-Flagler, Alex lived in Jordan, Egypt, Turkey and Lebanon, working in the international development and foreign policy industries. Alex is married with one daughter, and likes hiking, reading and traveling.
Kevin Lau – VP of Finance
As VP of Finance, Kevin is responsible for maintaining the organization’s budget and collaborates to plan club events. Kevin was born and raised in Houston, TX. Prior to business school, he was working at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in their Corporate Technology group and enjoyed spending his free time exploring the Houston food scene with his wife, Ashley. He is currently pursuing a concentration in Corporate Finance.
Abby Decker – VP of Fellowship
Abby is responsible for building community within the Christian community at Kenan-Flagler and collaborating with other ministry groups at UNC. A Western North Carolina native, Abby spent her career working in operations building out early stage companies in Austin, Atlanta and back in North Carolina before attending Kenan-Flagler. This summer, she interned with a healthcare private equity firm called NovaQuest. Outside of business school loves hiking, reading, trying new restaurants, farmers markets on Saturdays and tennis.
